“Ad astra per alia porci”

Today I retire and say good-bye to another pair of running shoes, my blue Asics.  We had our good times and our bad.  We ran on flat ground, sandy beaches, and cruised up and down many hills.  Seven states graced your treads, a few in each time zone.  However, no longer can you run with me without annoying knee pain to follow.  Never fear, you get to live on this fall in Gross Anatomy Lab after which you’ll be thrown away because of your rank formaldehyde smell.  You’ll be missed……until I replace you with another.
