Spaghetti Marco Polo
…adapted from Julia Child, as seen on Mr. Rogers, many, many, years ago. This is a very simple recipe, packed with carbs.
1/2 package of spaghetti (the normal size package)
1 can of tuna
4 oz of shredded swiss cheese
bundle of green onions, chopped
1 4 oz can black olives
1 4 oz jar of pimientos
Cook the spaghetti according to manufacturer instructions. Drain and place in bowl. Add the remainder of ingredients, toss, serve. You may want to sprinkle with a little parmesan cheese, for taste (and mouth feel).

So who was the culprit this time? Actually Mr. Carneal or was it the avid post-master Josh?! Hmmmmmm…much to ponder….

Just wondering so I know who to taunt for having TWO misspellings! Goodness gracious!

My first visit to your website and I find a somewhat familiar version of a Turse comfort food. Here’s the original all tossed in one bowl.
Spaghetti Marco Polo
Adapted from Julia Child’s appearance on Mr. Rogers TV Show in the
In a large bowl combine:
1 6 oz. can chunk white or light tuna (drained)
1 4 oz. jar chopped pimientos (drained)
1 4 oz. can sliced black olives (drained)
1 bunch parsley – chopped (Italian parsley, if available)
4 green onions – chopped
¼ cup, or so, chopped walnuts or roasted pine nuts
¼ – ½ teaspoon cracked black pepper (we like more pepper rather than less)
½ teaspoon salt
Cook your favorite pound of spaghetti to package directions. Drain. Add 1 TBSP olive oil and toss into the bowl – alternating with Swiss cheese and Parmesan as you toss – so that the cheese doesn’t melt in large balls.
6 oz. Swiss cheese – shredded
¼ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
Serves 4. Add more pepper and parmesan to taste.

I just noticed that I didn’t finish a sentence. It should note that the TV show was in the late 70′s.
