Finally after some long hard work, a few beers, and a couple of Mario Tennis breaks we arrive at the first version of “Gene’s pad.” Note, if you plan of constructing concrete block shelves, build them when you actually get to your new place and put down plenty of newspaper while spraypainting. That way they actually “fit” and you don’t have a nice sploched black porch….like mine. Regardless, this is the final look, minus a few decorations.
